This unit is pressurized by pumping the lid up and down, around 10 strokes will create a good bit of pressure, but that sprays just long enough to almost coat a baking dish for me. Has to be refilled after just a few uses. Mine sort of spits the oil unevenly too. You are supposed to release all the pressure between uses. The whole top unscrews for cleaning, but due to the nature of oil aging and the difficulty of dissolving it, I doubt if I will be able to clean the plastic parts well enough for it to last very long.
